Flaky cream puffs




450 g of ready-made puff pastry
1 tablespoon plain flour for dusting


1 egg
1 tablespoon of water
4 tablespoons of caster sugar


250 ml of whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
85 g of strawberry or raspberry jam 


The dough can be bought in a roll or a cube. The difference is that in the roll you have to roll out and fold the layer on the layer several times. The layer is already on the layer in the cube.


Tilt the tables with a tablespoon of flour
Lay out the dough and roll to a square of about 25cm.
With a sharp knife, divide the dough into 4 equal squares – about 13cm each
Then cut each of these squares diagonally – creating triangles. In total, there are 8 of them.


Preheat the oven to 220 C degrees.

Place baking paper or aluminium foil on one large or two small baking forms.
Disrupt the egg in the bowl with water
Arrange the triangles on the baking tray and spread each one with a fried egg. All sprinkle with two tablespoons of sugar.
Put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until they are fragile and golden.


Leave to cool down completely. After this time, cross each triangle along and prepare for filling.


Whip cream with vanilla and the remaining two tablespoons of sugar on a stiff mass.

Prepare a bag for squeezing the mass and a tip with an asterisk or other favorite.
Put the mass into the bag.
Place a teaspoon of jam on the triangle underneath and smear it. On the outer triangle, squeeze the mass.
Fold in the triangles again.


Before serving, keep in the fridge due to the mass of whipped cream.
